maybe you want to do some mods of your own and still have the option to go back to original? I am also including a very good condition, vintage 1960’s Hardshell Case that is made for the smaller Mustangs and Musicmasters etc. I am including a spare loaded pickguard that is perfect. Tons of cool 90’s vibe, smooth neck, great sound. Guitar is overall in above average condition. There are a few nicks and blemishes on the butt of the body. The pickup is the original, black ‘Vista Tone’ humbucker, and has the fun, push/pull coil tap that works perfect. All electronics are also original and perfect.

Wish I had this done to my first Vista Musicmaster that I had years ago. The neck feels way better than it did stock. It was set up with Ernie Ball Reg Slinky 9’s.

This guitar just recently received a professional neck re-fret, and complete re-string and set up from the world famous House of Guitars in Rochester NY. This was a $250 service, I will include the receipt. I have owned this guitar for about 8 years, and it has been one of my semi-regular player guitars. So they took the loss, and cancelled the Musicmaster for the remainder of the Vista Series run. This guitar plays and sounds excellent. They would have had to price them substantially higher than other Vista models. They cost too much to make, and by the time Fender realized they weren’t going to profit off them, it was too late. The reason for this was that the Musicmasters, despite being Chinese made, were of such high quality, that Fender couldn’t crunch the numbers enough to make it a successful part of the cheap, beginner, Vista Series. While the other models in the series were produced for 2-3 years, the Musicmaster guitar and bass were only made for 1. Some quick history about this oddball guitar- It was part of Fender’s short lived, late 1990’s Squier Vista Series. Desirable Seafoam Green, with matching headstock, White 3-ply Pickguard. Here for sale is my very rare, 1997 Squier Vista Series Musicmaster.
